Hua Takhe is a community and marketplace in Lat Krabang District, eastern Bangkok. Hua Takhe (หัวตะเข้) name meaning is “Crocodile’s head”. Because there was an excavation to discover a small crocodile skull. 

Hua Takhe Old Market nestled along the canal and surrounded by old wooden shophouses. Wooden shophouses about 100 years old, lots of interesting shops to see and eat.

I visited on July 27, 2020.

Interesting interior design with old wood.

At Si Yaek Huatakhe Cafe. So cozy place! Foods were delicious.

Nice place for walking and exploring old vibes.
