Studio Ghibli Concert for My Birthday

Today I’m going to share what I did on my special day. September 4 is my birthday. This year, September 4 is the 247th day of 365 days. I have been seeing the number 247 a lot lately. I do not know why.

In the morning, I received beautiful flowers from my friend. The little pink roses are so pretty.

In the afternoon I met my younger sister for lunch and then went to an Anime concert.

We had udon noodles and fried chicken. Actually, my birthday theme was Japanese style. hehe, My younger sister studied in Japan, and I also studied the Japanese language at my university for 4 years. That is why I like Japanese culture, food, and Anime.

Fantasia Studio performed Joe Hisaishi’s symphony at The Corporate Convention Center on my birthday. The theme music is from Hayao Miyazaki’s Studio Ghibli Films. The name is “Anime in Concert”, performed by Mongolian renowned professional orchestral musicians.

I booked the tickets for this concert almost a week ago. Then I rewatched all animes. 🙂

“Path of The Wind”, My Neighbor Totoro film.
The Name Of Life – “Spirited Away”, 2001 (Piano)
At the 75th Academy Awards, Hayao Miyazaki’s Spirited Away won the best-animated feature.
A Town With An Ocean View – “Kiki’s Delivery Service” film’s Main Theme
Merry-Go-Round of Life, “Howl’s Moving Castle” film
Legend of Ashitaka, “Princess Mononoke”
The Bygone Days, “Porco Rosso” film

Music composer- Joe Hisaishi, Transcribed and arranged by Munkh-Ulzii Zorigt, Conductor- Nyamdash Dashtseren

“Our lives are like the wind… or like sounds. We come into being, resonate with each other… Then fade away.

― Hayao Miyazaki.

I had a wonderful day of my life. I watched all the anime so I was excited to see this performance. All Studio Ghibli anime are my childhood memories.

Hope you like my post. BTW, What’s your favorite Studio Ghibli anime? 🙂

Let me know if you have any questions or comments.

Stay safe and take care!
