UJ’s travel diary in Laos

Last October 23 to 28, I traveled to Vientiane city and Vang Vieng town in Laos.

First time i took Air Asia’s plane. Bangkok’s Don muang airport to Wattay international airport.
in the airplane i found so hilarious advertisement page. Beautiful model looks happy with toilet sink. kkk
1 hour 10 minutes later finally departed in Wattaya international airport, Vientiane Laos. Beerlao is lao beer. taste is similar like Chang beer of thai. Also beerloa sounds like bayrlalaa which means thank you in mongolian language. So thank you Beerlao 🙂
Lao noodle soup for lunch , also free banana in local food shop. I surprised that they gave free bananas to anyone. Seemed so nice and so tasty noodle soup.
Patuxai is a war monument in the centre of Vientiane, Laos, built between 1957 and 1968. The Patuxai was dedicated to those who fought in the struggle for independence from France.
Absolutely Vientiane’s must-visit place.
Patuxai monument at day time (took this photo next day). This reminds me The Arc de Triomphe de l’Étoile monuments in Paris
October 24 I went to Pha That Luang (The Great Stupa) is one of the oldest and most magnificent landmarks in Laos.
Pha That Luang is a gold-covered large Buddhist stupa in the centre of the city of Vientiane, Laos.
