Lhong 1919 in Bangkok

Lhong 1919 is one of the most interesting tourist attractions places located on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok. I visited there on November 28, 2020.

Lhong 1919 was once called Hou Chuan Lhong, meaning a port for shipping goods from overseas. Later, around 1900, the place was transformed into a rental mansion before being sold to the Wanglee family in 1919. That’s why called Lhong 1919.

Now, Lhong 1919’s amenities include cafés, art and craft shops, co-working space, and a Thai-Chinese history centre.

A very unique place there is like a Chinese shrine with lots art exhibits and galleries.

It’s a historical area to preserve the 19th Chinese mansion.

Artworks by BAB 2020’s artists here

Some interesting arts in Gallery of Lhong 1919.

It’s great to see Chinese style architecture and some culture in Bangkok.

The Chinese arts are very beautiful in fine details.

Hope you like my post. Let me know if you have any questions or comments.

Stay safe and take care!
